In our industry, many agencies focus on “promo girl” formats, that stereotype an image that reflects a very similar, yet standard demographic. As we strive to think outside the box, I’ve been enlightened by the quest of decoding this image-most importantly, by doing away with terminology that brings us back to these phrases in an outdated fashion. When you want to be creative within marketing and branding, you need to offer credibility. As our list continues, below is strategy lingo that not only MPM has implemented, but our Members are also council to continued uniqueness-Welcome!
INDUSTRY SAYS Sampling /MPM SAYS Tasting
INDUSTRY SAYS Brand Ambassador/ MPM SAYS Promofessional™ (we were so serious about this, we trademarked it)
INDUSTRY SAYS Promo Girl/MPM SAYS MPM Member
INDUSTRY SAYS Sell/MPM SAYS Strategy
I say, time for old terminology to rest, Members of MPM. Let the quest go on, and embrace the future with professionalism, quest for individuality and most importantly, leaving a positive, lasting impression from each and every event we execute.
